The stalker

I only watched the trailer but I agree, it looks really creepy.

Of course it's weird, and the ending is a little too neat but it did not suggest that his actions was in any ways 'normal'... And in real life he would have been seen as a stalker, as he was in this movie.

I do appreciate that it took the stalker theme a different route though, the general Hollywood movie would of course have him go batsh!t crazy in the end, kill her dog and kidnap her mother and plead her to love him. This one showed a different kind of stalker, one who despite being incredibly delusional never truly let go of his humane side and when she said she wasn't interested he did accept that.

I haven't really seen that in a movie before from what I recall and I do salute originality as it is seldom seen in Hollywood movies, especially romances. Lost a couple points for the too cute end though.

Yeah, I really hate that we were supposed to sympathize with his stalker tendencies just because he had a rough childhood. Sure he had it hard, but a stalker is a stalker. The scene where he confesses "I was following you" has this romantic music in the background and I just sat there like SERIOUSLY? There should be a horror movie soundtrack instead.
