Views on Jeremy

I kind thought maybe Jeremy let them stay with him mostly for the cameras. Then maybe his wife started to get weird-ed out by being called 'Mom' by boys that aren't hers, and he probably didn't realize having that many teenage boys in a house is a lot of upkeep and $$, so he made up a reason to get them out: a crappy at home-drug test out of the blue that they all 'failed'.

His whole "I won't be mad at them, I'll just be done with them" was kind of a punch in the gut, he didn't really care about those kids.

His behavior disappointed me also - all those boys are good and I am bet in the future they will be be successful.

I think he generally cared. But as a parent he has a right and obligation to keep that behavior away from his daughter. I think he wanted to help these boys, but you have to obey the rules set down by the people that are feeding you and providing you shelter. Besides Jeremy and his wife have set up a house for these teens before the cameras started rolling.

I thought he just helped the kids find housing, I didn't know he had always housed them.

Not being a parent, I did overlook the fact that he has a daughter and that rules must be more strict hen there is a kid around. I'm just not sure I believe the reasoning.

And still, I really don't think he cared anymore than he "had" to, something about him is off to me. Maybe that's just the way he as portrayed by the director, or maybe it's just me, but something about him made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
