MTV NEEDS TO CANCEL THIS BS!

Seriously, this has to be the worst 'reality' show ever. It's so damn fake. The contestants are idots, Yayo is lame and 50 is a horrible actor! I mad at myself for watching five minutes of this crap. MTV needs to cancel it with the quickness.

F__king Catalina Wine Mixer!

Your wish has been granted.

And that, as they say, was that...

No it hasn't. Any one cans see the new episode Thursday's at 10 p.m. on MTV2 or Sat at 1 a.m. on M.T.V. The newest episode is on mtv.com right now...

if you want FAKE. go watch those cheap reality shows on VH1. now that's fake. 50 cents show may be scripted. but atleast it comes off as the most realistic show period compared to MTV's other shows and that crap VH1 has on air right now.

You're right, the reports that the show was cancelled proved to be false.
But I don't get how this show is somehow better or more real than VH1 shows. Cornbread is such a tough guy poser with his thrown back head and thug stare. And 50 Cent sounds like a gradeschooler reading out loud whenever he says his lines. And what's with episodes about promoting AIDS awareness or stopping obesity? When did he care about that stuff before? Just seems to me it's as formulaic as most other reality contestant shows, except 50 Cent sucks more than most at saying his lines.

Corey I totally agree. I watch this show JUST BECAUSE it's so CORNY. That's what makes it entertaining. Cornbread tries too hard to look like a tough guy. Why does his head have to be up like that all of the time? And everytime he speaks he thinks he's dropping street knowledge, it's annoying.
And 50 cent sounds so scripted, you're right. Everything he says sounds like it was written out. Plus, he tries hard to be tough like Donald Trump and it's just too contrived.
I do like that guy Chris Lighty though. He doesn't seem scripted and he knows what he's talking about.

Tiffany,
Looks like we agree, including about Chris Lighty. I laughed when he said to that girl that her 2.7 GPA sucked, and his daughter wouldn't dare show him a report card with grades like that.
And here's another question: Is 50 Cent the guy you want to go to for business advice? The guys around him packaged and sold him. All he had to do was rap and follow the scripted image. The music execs are the brains behind his success, not him. Other rappers have been highly critical of his so-called street cred and back story. I'd say he's no Puff Daddy, but that guy annoys me too, lol.

I hope Cornbread gets knocked down a notch or two, but that's wishful thinking. That street soldier act is tired.
