Racist Writers/Directors

Was watching this and loving it...right up to the point where the main character begins his internship. The doctor leading the interns on rounds displayed what was obviously very racial, bigoted behavior toward the main character. And, he had an obviously Southern accent.

These are the very Hollywood preconceived notions and stereotypes that the writers and/or director blatantly attempt to suggest is the default stance of anyone Southern.

For those of you who, by default, presume anyone with a Southern accent is racist, you are just as racist, bigoted, and prejudicial as assume those are whom you choose to judge without even knowing them. You blindly believe the garbage Hollywood loves to distribute in an effort to brainwash the rest of the country into thinking anyone south of the Mason-Dixon is racist from birth.

Shame on these movie-makers and anyone else taking such a shallow approach to the art form.

Isn't it possible it was based on a real person the real Ben Carson encountered?

And he clearly isn't from the South and as far as I know was born in Ohio. He uses the N-word a lot and he even voted for President Obama from what I was told. He is a liberal Democrat and hates Republicans. Basically pointing out that people can have an accent without actually growing up in the South and that racism is everywheres and can't be tied to just one Party. I've met racist Democrats and I've met racist Republican supporters.
