Offensive moreso than funny

I found myself getting offended with a couple of skits. Yes, I watch Family Guy and I used to think Seth McFarlane had a funny comedic style; however, now, I think he's just plain lazy. I was particularly offended with the cake sex and the other vaudeville song about a tiny vagina. I feel sorry for whoever thinks those skits were funny. Those skits bothered me and I definitely think that Seth has a distorted sexual ego. I especially hate how in FG Brian and Peter say how they will "destroy" Lois. McFarlane should stop getting millions for these crappy half-assed shows. I didn't find myself laughing at any of these little shorts. There were more like observations and odd scenarios than real jokes.

There were a few funny skits (horse in the bar, super mario & the princess, sex with a midget, sex with optimus prime, and a couple more) but about 65% of them were just really unfunny and lame. I can't believe this is the same guy that does American Dad, which is 100000 times funnier.

It felt like this was a bunch of Family Guy skits that got cut for being too offensive to air on tv so he compiled them on DVD so they wouldn't go to waste. I liked most of them but watching one short clip after another for an hour it can get a little old. But I did like most of it.

It is supposed to be offensive and that makes it funny.

I just thought it wasn't funny for the most part. I mean you watch something like this expecting to get offended so in that aspect I wasn't surprised. But it just didn't have the essence of humor you'd expect with something by McFarlane.

It's sad because Seth is a talented comic and animator, but he just lost it with this one. The few gems couldn't save the whole thing imo. I think lately He's been getting kinda preachy with his work which makes it lose its comedic value.

It doesn't matter to anyone else if you're offended by something. If you do find yourself offended, try and charge into a brick wall headfirst. That should solve any problems.
