Fairytales and plays used to be told over and over.. Jazz standards and folk songs are played by tons of musicians and the audience can individually decide which version they prefer.What about sampling in hiphop? What about using
kung fu moves in breakdance? what about Led Zeppelin, Nirvana or Stevie Ray Vaughn? What about the bible or Shakespeare. subconsciously or intentional.. everything is a remake.
