From the synopsis it actually sounds like the opposite of Falling Down.

No matter, the Michael Douglass movie will always be a cult classic of mine.

Falling Down?? Are you serious? Falling Down is a very dark movie about a guy that goes completely psycho. This movie is a comedy about a man trying to do the right thing because he thinks he's dying. They are completely different movies.

Interesting you should say that, because the premise of this film is sorta similar to a Saturday Night Live sketch called "4 MInutes to Live," on the April 7, 1984 episode hosted by... Michael Douglas!
