Jesse Eisenberg in Solitary Man

Has anyone heard any buzz about this movie? I was looking at the Newport Beach Film Festival schedule and noticed it. It's playing next Friday there. I love Eisenberg. I'm also excited to see Jenna Fischer and Mary-Louise Parker do something besides their TV roles (although I do love both The Office and Weeds).

he is the type of actor who is really good at "reacting"
doing double takes--and his face is so expressive
he has some good scenes in this film...
not a big part but he does a good job

Eisenberg - needs to expand a bit. But, I would put money on him in about 5 years if/when he gets a bit more experience with good directors. But in this role? Very predictable. I don't know if it's simply direction, or just that he is unable to play any other type of character. I'd rather see him teamed with DeNiro in this type of film, rather than Douglas. Douglas is too much a prima-donna were DeNiro would offer tips, as he always has done with young actors.
