I'm quite excited to hear Mary Louise Parker from 'Weeds' is starring in 'Solitary'.
She's a talented actress and good friend of Susan Sarandon, who is also in the film. This will be the third time they'll work together onscreen following 'The Client' and 'Romance and Cigarettes'.
I really look forward to seeing this film.

MLP (Jordan) is his girlfriend briefly, but in the final cut she has no scenes with Susan Sarandon.
I really like MLP, but I was disconcerted that her Solitary Man character had so many Nancy mannerisms and attitudes: sleepy and sexually needy but business-savvy and hard-headed.
