Great Doc. But something is amiss

As much as I like the documentary, they need to be upfront with HOW and the COST of using biofuel. I know that cars need to be converted in order to run on biofuel. The documentary made it seem like it's automatic.
But I like the message.

There are cars on the market now that will run on a biodiesel mix with a large majority (85-90%) biodiesel. I live in northeastern New Jersey and there are even quite a few biodiesel fueling stations close to me.

Please read and pay attention to what I wrote before posting a reply.

Biodiesel is diesel; there's no need to convert.

It wouldn't be a big deal for gasoline vehicles to run ethanol or methanol if it were done at the factory. Probably cheaper than adding a sun roof or A/C. Ethanol isn't the only alcohol; some scientists (Nobel prize winners) made a good case for adopting methanol; it can be made from various things that aren't food, including natural gas. Natural gas more commonly used = lots and lots of fracking.

HOW do you KNOW that cars need to be converted in order to run on biofuel?

The whole point of Diesel is it is very fuel agnostic.

For the biowaste diesel (ex-fryers), all you need is a filter to get out any solids and maybe a heater to keep it flowing freely.
