there's numerous precious lines in the movie, some of my favorites
1. "mera rat hai, cat hai, dog hai..."
2. "a b c d chaiyidi menu, laal mercedy chayidi menu" (from the song)
3. "aaj mera b'day hai. saal mein do baar aata hai bas"
i'm sure there are more that others found spot on about the dilli culture..

my favorites were:
1. when lucky is with the police near the end, he meets a couple in a hallway and the guy finally recognizes lucky and lucky starts talking with him casually.
"Aur sab thik?" then the man replies "han..sab thik thak" lol
2. the tv reporter near the end
"ghar mein biwi puchati hain 'khana kaisa bana hai?' to mere mun se nikal jata hain SANSANIKHED!"
Lucky is at Sonal's place but finds her sister instead. He sits down for a drink when the sister tries to seduce him. He rejects her and this happens.
Sister: Pasand nahin hoon na mein? Hi-fi chaahiye tere ko nahin?
Lucky: Maine kuch kaha?
[She slaps him]
Sister: Tu keh bhi kya sakta hai? Aukaad kya hai teri? 'Valuation' kya hai teri?
Lucky: Kya 'valuation'?
Sister: [Mocking him] 'Valuation? Ja jaake pehle angrezi seekh! Then you say me!
Something about that 'valuation' exchange just kills me! :D HILARIOUS!!!
Also in the climax when the cops are bringing Lucky out amid photographers and reporters. A couple comes by. Cops encourage the uncle to recognize Lucky. Uncle starts to stare intently when Lucky says....
Lucky: Mein hi to tha uncle. Pehchaana nahin? [Turns to cops and says] Laal chaddi pehni hui thi. [Turns to uncle] Aap bhaage bhi to the mere peeche!
Uncle: Accha right right right right right haan!!! [voice getting louder as he remembers Lucky]
[Everyone smiles]
Lucky: Aur sab theek?
Uncle: [Palms folded as if greeting a guest]Sab theek aur aap kaise hain?
Lucky: Namaste aunty.
Aunty: Haan....er...na...maste...[uncertain how to react since he is a THIEF!]
LOLOL.....

There were so many funny lines, i kept on laughing all thru the movie..right now i can remember when Lucky and Bengali are arrested and bengali is fake-crying lucky asks if hawaldar has slpped bengali..
Lucly - Tujhe thappad maare kya?
Bengali - Haan yaar bas 2-4 "formality " ke liye..usne maare maine kha lie aise hi to relations bante hain!!!
