Does anyone else believe that Miss Piggy was underused?

I really don't think she got enough screen time. She was too selfish. She should have gone with Kermie!

i read a review of this (TV Guide, maybe?) that said the same thing--about Miss Piggy being underused.

I agree. I love Miss Piggy's sassiness and her stuff with Kermie is always good.

But I think this whole thing felt rushed. It should have been a 2 hour movie....

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year!

Exactly. Very poor writing in this case. If this were the real Piggy, she would've stuck by her friends, especially her frog. I could picture her perfectly being jealous when Joy showed up, which would've been more natural than to just write her out in the first five minutes. Jerks.

You guys are forgetting that Miss Piggy never really hangs with any of the Muppets...other than Kermit. In The Muppet Movie, she doesn't even show up until halfway thru the film...and The Great Muppet Caper is basically Kermit, Fozzie and Gonzo's adventures. Miss Piggy is almost "above" being seen with lots of Muppets. And for a 45 minute movie, she was used enough. Animal's the one who was underused.
