David and his daughter at the end was so touching

Too bad we cared more about this minor character who was barely in the movie than the "stars" we were supposed to care about.

Disagree. The video of the mom singing to the daughter looked like a commercial with stock actors, LMAO.

reply

Yeah, but you felt nothing when Wayans started to cry? Come on man!!

reply

I didn't even care about that. Especially with the horrible bit where the main chick kisses the black dude and all of the sudden "THREE MONTHS LATER" appears. The chick sings to his daughter he gets pissed and they end it. Completely *beep* scene and dumb, the audience was given no foundation for this.

This is the only reason I came on this board. What the heck was that about? He has her over to play with the kid and then screams at her that "she's not her mother". WHAT! That was so random.

reply

Agreed. I understand he was upset and still sad about his wife dying but still, she didn't deserve to be yelled like that. How was she supposed to know she wasn't supposed to sing along with her??

That scene was ridiculous beyond comparison to anything I've ever seen. At first he's sitting there nearby smiling while they are playing, then he takes a call, comes back in and right away says "What are you doing" with a scowl on his face.

WTF ???? Terrible, Terrible, ridiculous, I don't know what else to say, I don't blame the actor but as the scene played out I wanted to scream, PHONY~~!@

It was a stupid scene. At least he apologized in the very end. I wouldn't blame her for not wanting to get back together with him. He's got some sh*t to straighten out.
