Why did Dakota Johnson have to covered all her Tattoos

Dakota Johnson had all her tattoos covered for this role. Anybody know why. I mean today lifestyle 8 out of 10 woman have tattoos.

I don't have tattoos (I am one of the 2 lol) but I think they were trying to make her somewhat nerdy or something. With that hairdo and all? Not that nerds don't have tattoos.

Well, if they were the actress' tattoos in real life, they'd have to be covered or hidden so as to make her character believable.

You know how Pamela Anderson has a tribal tattoo on her bicep that goes all the way around her arm, from when she was promoting her film Barbed Wire? Well, if she's in a movie now where she plays a college professor and Pamela's own tribal tattoo is visible, we not longer believe she's a character but we see the actress.

Well- not everyone likes tattoos. I don't think they look great on men, and even worse on women. I just think they look quite ugly.
