If he's not black, he's one ethnic looking white dude. Zak and he have the same skin color, and Drew is obviously white, so I think it's pretty clear.

i agree, i think the dad is black. which is cool! i've noticed that a lot of cartoon network shows have had inter-racial friendships / relationships recently. [mac + goo from 'fosters'; wyatt in '6teen'; and even the kids from that live action show that used to come on...]
