Do actors really playing piano in movies?

I saw Douglas hands playing. how do they do that "trick"?

Douglas' head was CGI'ed onto a professional piano player's body

Adrian Brody actually learnt how to play when he filmed the pianist, so Michael Douglass may have done that or already know how to play. Or have his head cgi'd on.

It's pretty obvious it was CG.

I'm not so sure. Douglas does a good job pretending to play, but when the bass notes are heard his hands are further up the keyboard. It didn't look realistic to me. Not a condemnation, just an observation.
