The entire film was like she was reading from a teleprompter. This is one of the worst acting performances I have ever seen, bar B films and porno.

Another Aussie doing well and her sister is also on the path to stardom...

Some Aussie actors find it hard to get the American accent especially when they travel back and forth to the US a lot...

There are some 30 or more Aussies headlining in various TV series/movies these days and my American wife and American mother-in-law rarely notice unless these actors sometimes get emotionally charged when speaking/yelling and then the Aussie tends to break out...

You may notice there are also dozens of English actors like Andrew Lincoln in The Walking Dead who handle it well, but a lot of the Brits are encouraged to keep their accent like Sleepy Hollow, Lucifer, or to be almost accentless like Charlie Cox in Daredevil...

If Tom Cruise can play Jack Reacher (a 6'5" giant of a man) in an English writer's book series then it's hard to worry about variations in accent. After all many an American show set in Europe has American actors giving everyone some truly shocking European accents!! LOL
