I just found out about this movie and its weird because it has a woman from Sex in the City in it whom millions of people have watched and she's in this movie which no one knows about and I dont think it got promoted much.
shareI thought the same thing, to a degree. The character of Tobe and the actor who played him was SOOOOO like Napoleon Dynamite that I had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't him. I don't know if it was intentional, or an unfortunate mistake.

There's nothing wrong with having influences but sometimes the sum of parts isn't greater than the whole.

shareI agree with the OP. It was like the directors told him to do as much as he could to capture the nerdisms and expressions of Napoleon Dynamite. He even looked and moved like him. Not to mention he was also from the Northwest.
