I really wanted to shake this woman. She claims she gets recognized everywhere and that it is stressful, that she was fired from a job because they knew who she was, and that her daughter does not want her at her track meets because people will know who she is. The whole time I was thinking, lady dye your hair brown (probably her natural color anyway), get those lips deflated, wear normal, modest makeup, and dress in jeans and a sweatshirt. Seriously, her daughter would be embarrassed to have her around even if she was not a former porn star.

I do not believe this woman is really sincere about leaving her past behind. She must actually love being recognized as "Houston". It does not make sense to keep that trashy skank look otherwise.

According to her wiki and imdb page, she has returned to porn. I agree - she was almost comical looking with her lips and face shot up with botox. I also read this on wiki:

In 1999, she went on the show to promote the fact that she was having her labia surgically trimmed to enhance her "look" during close-up video work. Houston also claimed that her labia was causing problems during her dancing in strip club appearances. In a subsequent online auction, Houston reportedly sold her labia for an estimated $50,000 according to online auction, Erotic Bid.

That does not surprise me. There was something blatantly insincere about that woman's claim that she wanted to have a regular life. She obviously was very much so still attached to her porn star self. I also highly doubt if she was fired because they found out about her past. One of the things that these porn stars do not do while working in porn is build up any skills or learn about how to behave in a "regular" workplace.
