What I did and didn't like about this TMNT

Did like:

+The background story, similar to Batman has been told many times and in many ways, but this one was funny and different enough from previous retellings.

+ I thought Splinter was ok, his design wasn't bad and I liked his mannerisms.

+Mikey and Raph were the best in this, lots of funny lines and their personalities felt right on.

+ William Fichtner was also funny, he seemed to be having too much fun in his role and that is always good.

Did NOT like:

-I think this is most peoples complaint - Turtle design is way too busy. I get they wanted to give them more character, but they had a bit too much crap on, especially Donny.

- Fight scenes were too hard to follow - blurry and oversaturated. You wanna see the Turtles kicking some rear.

- Megan fox. I just didn't like her as April and if it makes sense she looked "too good" for the role. Judith and Paige look great too, but they don't look like supermodels that overshadow the role.

- Shredder was too 'knifey'. His design was distracting, he looked robotic...

- Foot clan x terrorist group. I get they were trying to modernize the foot clan and them running around NYC with bladed weapons and fighting hand to hand is kinda out now, but there was way too much gunplay.

- Karai, one of my favorite characters is all wrong here. She doesn't fight, actress who played her looked too old, she had no background and she didn't even fight.

- Will Arnett was funny for some parts but overall he was annoying

-I get Donny is supposed to be Nerdy, but I think they went overboard.

- During the background I wish they would've went into the weapon choices for the Turtles.

More dislikes than likes yeah, but it an alright reboot. Sequel was better which I'll be doing a thread for.
