Suspending disbelief

Hey, I'm all for letting go of reality and enjoying a movie so long as it's entertaining and doesn't go ridiculously over the edge.

I can give a pass to much of the film and story just to get a few chuckles and see some good action sequences. This film however goes WAY over the top, and one particular scene really bugged me.

Driving an 18 wheeler down the side of a cliff with all of these vehicles in pursuit is crazy enough in and of itself. My biggest problem with this sequence though is how incredibly long it lasts.

Are they going down the side of a damn mountain?? This chase goes on and on and on, with the action in the sequence getting more and more ridiculous as it goes along.

I get it, it's supposed to just look cool and let that be the end of it. This was the point where I tuned out of enjoying the entertainment value and started to roll my eyes though.

Pretty terrible movie. Only saving grace is that Megan Fox is so incredibly gorgeous.

Really?? I thought casting Megan Fox as April was one of the worst casting decisions of the past five years. I like my actresses to be able to act.

I get your frustration and I agree that the whole chase scene was over the top. But it didn't bug me nearly a much as the ending, which was just plain stupid.

The Turtles fall from like a hundred storey building, while holding a heavy metal tower, and yet they make such an impossibly soft landing?!?!?!?!?! No thud, no crash, no bump, Raphael didn't even notice that they had crashed?

NO amount of suspension of disbelief would make anyone "accept" that BS!

The truck sequence just showed that the movie was very much inspired by the Transformer films.

It's that man again!!
