The movie seems to be on the right path for a decent film. The filming
during fight scenes is so terrible you can't stand to watch for long
for fear of getting dizzy or light headed. The camera pans left, right,
up and down all at the same time like a bad vacation video done by a
child.
Agreed, those sort of shots are so unprofessional looking and extremely nauseating, not a fan at all of that sort of filming.
shareWe noticed the exact same thing! It was very distracting and most of the time I just looked away, since we couldn't really see anything anyway :P
It's fun to think about what exactly the cameraman was doing though.

to cover the poor fight scenes it looks like they taped the camera to one of the weapons and simply flailed away - either that or the camera man was pissing himself with laughter and could not hold the camera steady.

shareBudget constraint - It's easier and cheaper to film wobbly-cam fights like this than it is to choreograph a fight scene properly, or deal with sfx for wounds, etc.
