Better than DTESS (Not kidding)

Besides the pointless nudity at the beginning (Which I skipped. please dont flame me for that) I actuly enjoyed this Film much more that The day the earth stood still. It seemed so easy in TDTESS to conive Klatu to not destroy the earth i couldnt actually belive my eyes. So your telling me the aliens that want to destroy all of mankind hadnt done enough research to consider we werent worth desroying? I was so dissapointed. But funny enough, I felt more emotion and conviction in The Day the Earth Stopped than in The Day the Earth Stood Still. Especially in the baby birth scene. Wow, i was really impressed. Could have done with alot more action (This applies to BOTH movies) but thats ok.
Take it or leave it, but thats my opinion.

*Remembers the baby birth scene, then blocks it out again*
That was the worst part of a movie that was still better than Keaneauauaeue Reeeuaueauaeuaeves pretending that portraying an emotionles robot was hard.

The birth scene consisted of a series of still photos that were Ken Burnes'd about eighty times each, accompanied by the same five seconds of music that is so repetitive you'd think that your DVD was broken in half and will skip back and forth for all eternity.

I have watched enough crap Assylum movies like this that I've started checking the DVDs to see if they're not just DVD shaped graham crackers that somehow work in my DVD player.

I started reading your review and thought "hey this is a decent thought" but then i realized who the writer was, and lost all respect. you just hate everything about this company. so why dont you do yourself and us a favor, and keep your troll comments to yourself.

So you took my comment under consideration until you realized who I was? That's wrong. That's just plain wrong.

At least I had the common decency to flame this movie WITHOUT being a f-cking racist.

By the way, in case you hadn't noticed (Which I'm sure you didn't) your precious Leigh Scott has nothing to do with this movie. He no longer works for the Assylum and he's made a few movies independently that I haven't been suicidal enough to watch.

Calm down please your embarrassing yourself. Just let people like what they like ok? You dont have to be so uptight about someone liking what you dont.

This is what I look like calm.

I was letting you have your opinion. You were the one who launched a personal attack at me for being who I am.

As for being uptight, you're the one that can't stand me not liking this movie-shaped graham cracker.

Who is aggressor animal now?

You still dodging the fact that you attacked me for liking a movie! Oh well, say what you want. I could care less. Later.

Did you drop out of school, or just skip every grade that involved reading?

I was attacking the MOVIE, not YOU. I didn't even recognize you, and I certainly didn't acknowledge you in my first post.

But since you're too mature to argue, I'm just talking to digital air, aren't I?

I agree. At first I was disappointed when I discovered I had rented a B movie instead of the big budget film, but after watching the movie, it wasn't really that bad. Then when I watched the actual DTESS, I was disappointed AFTER I watched the movie.

Thank you very much! I agree completely. I asspecially love your Result vs. Budget scale. I am really curious a lot to see what filmmakers do with tiny budgets more than what big time movies do with massive budgets. True talent comes when you have less resources it seems.

I don't get it. Why watch them if you know they're gonna be bad?

The original DTESS beats both of them.
