i actually worked on this movie

and i can tell you that the whole time we were there we were laughing at all the acting, the script which is very bad and that cordell moore guy was a jerk. i'm pretty sure you should till you get your oscar before you throw a bi tch fit. the director was a pasty little guy who apparently worked on mad about you but seeing as i wasn't a single mother in the late ninties i've never seen it.
if you're wondering if it's real, yes it is and yeah it takes itself pretty seriously but should you see it? if you can't stand laughing too hard at a comedy but want to laugh just a little bit at terrible filmmaking then yeah go see it.
p.s. the only good scene in the movie is when denise is getting the car in the garage and driving off. my friend greg stanford directed that but of course he gets no credit.

Thanks for sharing. That's hilarious normastory.

Yes, the movie was embarrassingly awful I'm afraid. The acting (**ESPECIALLY** Cordell Moore's) was hilariously atrocious. The sound editing was amateurish.

But something I have never seen in a big screen movie was sloppiness with two things: 1) the subtitled scene in the coffee shop: did anyone notice that the words & letters were poorly spaced and that there was actually a TYPO (or more specifically, a GRAMMATICAL MISTAKE in the subtitling?). And 2) the end credits were actually mis-aligned. BADLY mis-aligned.

No one noticed any of this? How the hell did this movie get green-lighted for the big screen???

Tho I will admit the acting was, well "atrocious", the movie itself was watchable. The overly dramatic portrayal of what happens to a man who feels hes been betrayed has a very factual basis. The scene with Tina talking to the therapist was relatable to say the least. And for the amount of money they had to produce it, I think they did a good job! P.S. Cordell Moore might just be one of those actors that need to be in character at all times?!! Don't form your opinion of the movie based on your feelings about the actors!!!!

The one scene that killed it for me was when David's Marine buddy came into the office to visit. They went to a bar for drinks and David goes on to tell his buddy his life story. I'm asking myself, "Damn, If this is David's buddy, shouldn't they have had this conversation 20 yrs ago when they became friends ?" It was like the two were meeting for the first time ever ! Horrible writing and at times seemed like the script was rushed. Other than enjoying the female eye candy in this, I wouldn't watch it again if I was paid to do so !!

Who was in charge of painting David's abs on at the beginning of the movie? That was hilarious.

I'm spendin more bail money than I'm gettin tail moneyyy!

1.65 million is a lot of money. Enough to make this one better.

She may be a nutcase, but I cant disagree with anything she is saying. This is a movie to see for laughs.

Now u know why they call me Chicago Wind, fool.

The girl who got in the car in the garage was Tina, not Denise....

The only person who was awful at acting was the main male lead. Everyone else was actually not that bad. The scene's transitions were horrible. They were like a tv made commercial break transition, which was weird because this wasn't made for tv? Not sure what was about. That, and his acting made me laugh, everything else was alright.
