Surprise, surprise, another good Black film rated poorly on IMDB
Its getting too obvious now. Any independent Black film not rife with gang violence like Boyz in the Hood or Menance 2 Society (a classic film by all means though, don't get me wrong) is routinely rated badly.
Based on lots of other indies of its kind, this film should easily be a 6 or more. The story was good, the dialogue was good and very real, and the acting was actually superb. Less, shall I say, "darkened films" get rated well above the pay grade that this one is at. Just as a reference the absolutely ridiculous movie "The Happening" was rated a 5.1!!! A 5.1 y'all!! Just go to comments to see how big of a joke that movie is. Meanwhile this well done film couldn't even manage a 5 because....? You know exactly why.
Ridiculous amount of bias smh
