Why didn't they... (SPOILER)

Why didn't Scott and Olivier take Cal to the hospital after the rape scene? If I saw someone in the condition Cal was in, I would.

BTW This movie was WAY too violent for my taste. Having been gay-bashed myself, I don't any need to SEE it in a movie. Love scenes on the other hand were great.

he said no police. if they took him to the hospital the police would have been called.

I agree, with the beating/rape he took from Junno, Cal would have sustained substantial internal injuries/bleeding...life threatening, but we are led to believe a nice hot bath and to beddy-bye and everything is OK. Well, it's not. That was definately not credible. If the hospital E.R. felt they had to call the police, then Cal got beat up and raped by unknowns. However, that said, this was a very, very good film.

As i said in another post, the violence might not have been pleasant, but we need films that deal with violence in gay themed films, more honestly. that level of violence IS out there, and it's about time someone brought this to light in a film like this. not every movie can be pretty and fun..life is rarely pretty for people invloved in gangs. Although there probably should have been some kind of warning on the package, because it was pretty extreme
