How exactly is Cal hurt to bleeding? SPOILERS

...in the last twenty minutes or so. I just wasn't clear about that. Jonno rapes him once, though Cal is (as we've seen in an anonymous encounter) no penetrative virgin at that point. The blood and serious trauma only arrives with a second, presumably even more assaultive invasion. But it's portrayed unclearly, so I'm confused as to what actually happened.

Not at all suggesting one same-sex rape was more OK than another. Just a little puzzled by their staging.

Penetrative virgin or not, the rape by Jonno was considerably more violent than the earlier scene with Scott. And the situation certainly wasn't condusive to Cal being proper relaxed. Even "normal" (i.e. vaginal) rape can cause bleeding.

Not wishing to be too graphic but forced entry can tear soft tissue....hence the bloodied arse....Being stressed - and therefore tight muscles rips skin....

Cal usually would be high when he had sex, so he would be really relaxed. The rape situation was not only while he was clean/sober, but a really stressful position. And like someone else said, even willing anal sex can lead to bleeding.

Cal was not bleeding from a knife wound, it was the rape. The post that you are replying to is from the film's actual writer/producer/director, so it's canon.

Yeah. When you are in a force situation and against your will your body will tighten and try to protect itself therefore making it painful

Plus all the internal bleeding from Cal being kicked in the ribs all those times.

The blood comes from Cal being stabbed by Jonno. Watch the film again; you will see Jonno's knife is covered with blood. at first I thought he penetrated him anally with the knife, but that would have been too much; and Cal would have gone to the emergency room. it just isnt clear where he cut him.
