Has anybody read anything about the interview between g4tv and the Gears creators/ Len Wiseman. The script has been written. It is far too early for casting actors yet. Len Wiseman wants to find actors who look the part, then buff em' up. We can all rest assure that "Batista' nor the "Rock" will be in this movie. Cliffy B. has also confirmed that Lester Speight ( Mighty Rasta) was just a voice actor and will not be in this movie. When I read the interview I was relieved.

thats stupid as hell. Mighty rasta needs a little hair but then he can sound exactly like him. And how do you know if he can act or not? Personally i wouldnt mind the Rock. He is no longer a wrestler, he has established himself as a decent actor (The Rundown, Walking Tall)
But no batista and maybe wrestling connections are bad overall.

Well they want to cast unknowns for the same reason that the characters were unknowns when we started playing the game. They are trying to make this movie appeal to aaallll audiences young, old, gamers and non-gamers. They are trying to make this movie epic and come off stronger and better than a typical videogame movie.
