You had me, right up until the 'La La Land' DVD extras

I'd like to think that I "got" your style of comedy. I adore how the everyday person going about their business becomes caught up in a parody of themselves and their endeavours. And I think pretty much everyone is fair game in one way or another. And I don't believe any boundaries had been crossed or taboos broken in any of the six main episodes of 'La La Land'.

But calling someone who clearly has a debilitating physical disability 'Jabba the Hut' right in front of them? Which level was it that that was meant to be working on?

Someone might even have been forgiven for having made a poor decision during filming, in something of a blood rush, only to leave it on the editing room floor. But to include it on the DVD extras?

Sorry, champ, you're incredibly talented and I truly loved 'La La Land', but what a disappointment to see such a low stoop in this case. I never really believed you to have been capable of genuine cruelty until now.

You're wrong. It made me laugh. It worked.

The number of lulz you happened to get out of it is irrelevant. The point is that it would have been highly offensive to the person the comment was being made about that makes it in poor taste.
