I'm trying to remember, but I think some of the words (in Korean) sort of rhymed or sounded similar line-by-line in his monologue, so I got the sense that maybe in Korean there were some puns or funny wordplay involved. Definitely lost in translation, if so.
Lots of jokes involve that sort of thing, in whatever language.
