Will there be a Season Eight???

I've just finished watching seasons one thru six of this outstanding series, and am starting the out of sequence Season Seven----"The Uprising." Do you know if there will be a Season Eight? The end of Season Six left a lot of unanswered questions about what became of the surviving characters during the Lublin Gang/Soviet occupation period.
SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't finished season six close your eyes here....

At the end of Six, a group is making an escape in a tunnel---and the story just stops there---no idea what becomes of them! Season Seven begins with the Uprising---No flashback from Six to segway into Seven... Seven doesn't take us back to the Soviet occupation. If no Season Eight is produced that's a really lousy way to end an otherwise awesome series because it gives no closure for the remaining characters...Wish I could read Polish to see if there are any blogs from Poland covering this topic...
