I was wondering the same thing. For a while she was only shown close up. Then the back shots you can tell it was a body double. Then there was that business in which she disappeared for a long time. Supposedly a year has passed since she left and in last night's episode she was finally shown full body again. She does look different physically, not just because she is supposed to be older and wiser, but there is definitely something different about her face and figure. My bet is that she was pregnant, the story of her absence written in, she took off two months to have her baby and now she's back.

She wasn't pregnant, but she had an accident and broke her arm. So, the production decided to just do close ups of her face, and a body double for the long-full body-shots. Even now that we can see her completely she doesn't move as much as she did before.
