Barbara is losing power

I like how many people are not afraid of her anymore. She was used to everyone bowing to her, but now many stand up to her and her own people are beginning to betray her. I loved it when Cecilia slapped her and when Don Melisio told her to shove her welcoming party for Antonio.

Yeah, Cecilia giving Barbara a smack was great! Barbara has abused her power way too much. I'm glad that things aren't going her ways. She's had the chance to be happy, straighten herself out and instead she keeps on her old ways. How does she expect for anyone to love her?

She keeps to her old ways as a defense mechanism. Anyone who has been as abused as she will never let her guard down.

As for love, Barbara thinks she can cast spells over anyone. It should only be so easy.

^ I understand that, one shouldn't let their guard down with anyone. I was referring that her heart is clouded with so much hatred it prevented Barbara from being truly happy. Barbara now seems more obsessed with Santos than in love with him.

I agree; she is obsessed. She seems to not realize that her treatment of him is not that which inspires love.
