he went up on stage, took the mic from taylor swift and told the audience "no offense, but beyonce had one of the best videos of all time" needless to say he got booed, but I felt bad for taylor, she looked like she was about to cry! =(

I agree it was her moment I didn't say it wasn't. I don't care for Taylor but Kanye was being an ass hole and he also embarrassed Beyonce by putting her name into it.It was really sweet of Beyonce to give Taylor her moment. Kanye has done this plenty of other time before with other artists so I don't get why he keeps getting invited to these shows. The shows suck anyways and him acting like an ass makes it even worse.

I guess you dont get the whole "less is more" thing. Beyonce's vidoes are about what videos should be about -- the skills and performance of the audience. Not special effects, etc. But anyway, Kanye was retarted and I'm glad Beyonce showed how classy she is.

i know mtv has a penchant for staging scenes but knowing kanye that really didn't feel staged at all. maybe it was, who knows? and I agree with you the quality of this show has gone south over the years. The last award show that I actually enjoyed watching was probably 1999 at the Opera house.

What would award shows look like if somebody threw a hissy fit on stage every time the person they thought was deserving lost? Kanye's mind seems to be missing a filter. There's a time and a place for everything and this certainly wasn't it. Speaking your mind is only admirable when done wisely, not being unnecessarily disrespectful and intrusive. He's been doing this crap for far too long and I'm happy that people are finally doing something about it.
