Okay - did anyone else cringe at Madonna's speech? Let's honor the talent, dancing and music, but let's not pretend there was no suspicion of very inappropriate behavior on Michael Jackson's part in terms of kids. I'm just saying.

yup, i'm here. i was looking for a VMA 2009 too, but they don't have one. anyhow, yeah madonna's speech parts if not most of her depressing on purpose. she has issues. anyhow, tonight's not about her, it's about MJ and well i guess the so called nominees. let's see if any of the performances are actually good this year.

Why does everyone hate this speech? She did make it a little too much about her but overall, it was very nice. Got a great reaction out of everyone in the house.

i actually thought it was 10x better than brooke shields speech at the memorial. now THAT was cringeworthy.
i think Madonna wrapped him up pretty well...Janet sure did lose 15 lbs fast for this performance.

Her speech was AWESOME! Michael didn't do anything to those damn kids! One kid even came out and admitted that his dad made him accuse Michael for money. Michael was just an easy target. But remember, he was NEVER CONVICTED.

You don't get a search warrant into a high profile person's home unless you have probable cause. In CA, the judges are very liberal. The police officers would've had to have solid information to get a search warrant and search MJ's place like they did.
You can be talented yet still be interested in children in an inappropriate manner. With his childhood and abuse from his father, it would not surprise me if he had some serious issues.

His advisors told him to pay the families off instead of dragging it out in court. And did you all not hear that one boy even ADMITTED to lying about being molested??? And for the person that said OJ wasn't convicted, he did lose the other cases. Everyone knows OJ did it! Micheal...not so sure. I dont think he did anything malicious, just stupid. (like sleeping in the same bed as young boys)
