Why so little performances?

I swear like three people performed this year. I remember watching this show and I swear it was like 50 million people performing in one show. Good god I swear I used swear a lot...such a weird word.

No-one wants to perform on this show anymore, agents are realizing MTV is not the way to go anymore lol...unless you're a reality star.
