Man, what a load of Bull$hit. European mob bosses worried about an Indian criminal, and not being able to take him out? Ok, I'll bite. I thought the film will be about Don taking out his enemies one by one, plotting, scheming, but this fiasco of a film was about a stupid heist (with scenes creatively borrowed from other great movies) and which didn't make any sense at all.

Why would a man with a hundred criminal enterprises want to go in and steal currency plates, and don't give me the crrap about printing money, there's more to it than just plates. And not to mention other plot holes.

Naturally SRK and Hrithik are of the same height and body mass and SRK can put on a Hrithik mask and look just like him.

You didn't understand the movie. Don's goal is always to be #1. He gets rid of his enemies and steals something they want. What's more, Don works on the police side in both movies and tricks them. U didn't understand it. Go watch We Bough a Zoo instead. You don't need an IQ for that movie.

So... Shahrukh is a Don or rather One Man Army(?)...
He can shoot 50 rifle armed gangsters with a single revolver.... (in slow motion, off course).. Maybe in Don 3, he will slap all the enemies till they die.. LOL !!!

Go check the dictionary and look for the meaning of 'Don'.
Don refers to the leader of gangsters who plans everything,owns everyone and gets rid off of his enemies strategically. Not like Rajnikant..

the movie does have a few plotholes i agree and if they just made Don take over the european drug market it may of been better but SRK was awesome i have to say and it was actually pretty smart at the end, not talking about the obvious and lame twists but the disk he gives.

it couldve been better but think back with bollywood this year Bodyguard, ready, a heap of other crap movies and only about 15 max good movie came out and don is one of those.

The remake of Don was commendable because until then, we haven't seen a more stylish, and shocking movie with a villain who inevitably wins. Don from the 2006 remake was a hard working, talented, evil genius. In the second movie, Farhan must have been under pressure from all the other work that he chose to be lazy and lift scenes from other movies. There is no originality in the script and the Don who worked his way up in the first movie creating a drug empire was a simple man relying on a heist on the second movie.

It was still a decent movie nonetheless, but I am afraid Don 2 was cleverly marketed to use the Don franchise to get acclaim. Also, most of the cool scenes were given away in the promo's, songs, and trailers itself.

Dont be so hard on this movie brother. It's a decent start for bolly trying to make films at international standards. Flaws are there but not that big that it spoils the whole effort.
But obviously there was nothing to understand as it seems they said it all.

Yes this film has send my mind into depths of complicated strings of numbers which even The Matix couldnt achieve. I havent slept since watching the film and I cant until I figure out where the currency paper was sourced from to print the euros. Or maybe thats Don 3?

Nice very mature, I comment on a film and people try to insult me, my family and comment that I am not being an Indian. You guys are the perfect example of what's wrong with the internet. This post is about a particular film, a FILM, not nationality or the talent of the film-maker or artist. What do my views about certain films have to do with my being Indian? To give an example, Lakshya is my favourite film by Farhan Akhtar, a brilliant piece of work. I have enjoyed several of SRK's films such as Swades - ever heard of that one? Now these two are examples of good films. Regarding Don, I feel that AB's 1978 original was far more tasteful. Simplistic, yet elegant. And yes, I do point out errors in American films as well as British and other global cinema.

I mean seriously, I post my view about a film and you get personal? One of you drags my mother into it. Did I comment on your mother dicckwad? Another person mentioned a zoo movie. A zoo movie? seriously? About a thousand films (give or take) made in 2011 across the globe and you use a lame-a$$ zoo movie as an example of my taste? Really?

Now, about being Indian - people like you tarnish our image by posting silly arguments online devoid of any logic or grace, resorting to petty insults and getting personal. This is a global forum, choose your words and insults wisely.

Now take HollowScar as an example. This was a great comment, tastefully written to counter my post. It actually made sense and I respect it, can't say the same for so many of you, though.

I agree with you and the fact prynkya chopras acting is very poor indeed she has no expression in her roles and her lines are so weak and judging her from this movie she definatly looks lame. By the way that mask scene is actually hithrick Roshen doing a cameo.

Yeah, thanks. I understood that Hrithik did a cameo, I just wanted to mention that it didn't seem plausible given the so many differences in their physical characteristics, it may have worked better if someone closer to SRK's physique had done thd cameo. Other than trying to capitalize on star value, it didn't do much for the scene.

The best thing is they legally bought the copyrights of Italian Job unlike our King's movie.

Yeah but buying the rights to a movie doesn't make those filmmakers look any better. They're still blatantly copying a Hollywood film, only difference is now they can't get sued, whereas before they left the flood gates open.

Nah he should not be banned from the internet....I think he is just some 10 YO new to the movies and just beginning to explore the wonders of Bollywood. He will graduate sooner or later....hopefully!!
As for Don 2....I stopped watching it from the point Mr SRK jumps from the roof of that building without apparently any rope attached.....or was it attached, but who cares!! That was how much I could take it. Kudos to guys who managed to go through the entire torture!!

Even if Karan Johar makes a film on SRK sh****ng for 1 hour, these people will like it!!!
