Well the more frequent publicized cases of false rape allegations in college (Rolling Stone article anyone?) do back up my assertion that people are a bit too quick to call rape these days.
And you clearly are deliberately ignoring the intention of my comment: an UNDERSTANDABLE (not justified, but nobody can say it just came out of the blue for no reason) overreaction due to all the stuff going on around women that have them on their toes and with their guards up.

I don't for a second think that's true... However, I DO believe that to be successful in business you have to be a singleminded personality type who's perhaps insensitive to the feelings of others... so in the movie, that's manifested as manipulating women. It may not be strictly true, but it's a metaphor that's easy to grasp and has dramatic potential.
