The fly

Now I actually enjoyed the film bar a few cringey moments but my question is:
Did anyone else notice the fly?
Seriously. And I'm sorry to those who haven't seen it yet just in case you start looking out for it & it kind of ruins the film for you.
Any time they're in the kitchen - even the porch scene - there's a blasted fly buzzing around that I kept noticing & it made me laugh every time I saw it.
Anyone else?
An inane question I know but just want to see if I'm the only freak out there or not!
Be lucky!

I saw it as well, and the bad part is I kept looking around my house thinking it was landing on my screen but no it was really there...

*possible spoilers*

Just watched this movie, there isn't just one fly, there's a bunch of them flying around and I actually thought it was funny too. I noticed it on the scene when the dad comes home and there is that white bday cake on the table, you see them flying all around it.

I might even think it was smart of them to put flies in the movie:it was because they had dead bodies in the basement. And because the movie was so natural and didn't try to look something that it wasn't, it seems like it makes sense too
So maybe it's not freaky at all;-))

I noticed the Fly too, i think it was just a cameo appearence! I think there was only dead bodies in the basement briefly, coz i think most were buried in the back Garden pretrty promptly! The girl that died when she fell on the tools, was only lying there dead for a little while!

I wonder if they were real fly's or if they were digitally added...probably real, as real one's are cheaper & fairly easy to obtain!

But did anyone notice the Masonic symbolism? mainly in the form of sun flowers & a Masonic star on the wall, well i think there was about 2 Masonic stars one above the other, they represent the sun, which Freemasons worship! Thye show up in many forms in the majority of movies!!!

I noticed the ones in the basement as well. But the ones at the cake scene was really like "WTF? is that my TV or is it real?" because there actually was a real spider inside my TV once. It was doing laps across the screen. Don't know hwo it got there or got out, but it was weird. So seeing the flies in the movie just made me think they were more real then they should have been.

There were flies all over the place in virtually every scene at the Hoxey house. This was obviously intentional.
