I saw this last night...

I have to say it is essential viewing to anyone who cares even the slightest about cars and worthwhile viewing to anyone one else. Any man who doesnt get a kick out of this funny, passionate & entertaining movie should probably reach between their legs and see if there is anything missing.
Top marks to Eric Bana for making & bringing us a film by car people for car people.

Yeh i saw this today in perth.

Really enjoyable, some good footage. Inspired me to go out and do a little work to my 2 year restoration project

Certainly made me want to buy an XB and go to Targa Tasmania, but it wasn't perfect. Clarkson was great, both for entertainment and relating to cars with emotion. His advice to Bana as to where he should dump the wreck or rebuild it was touching and funny.

when my pop said he sold the MGB we had since '83.

I wasn't a fan of Bana until I saw this film. My boy enjoyed it as well.

Anyone that is a car fan will have to see this film. You'll enjoy it.

I just want to say that cars have nothing to do with testicles, because people on this board seem to think theirs a medical link.

Cars have an awful lot to do with testicles. Can I get an "amen"?

Superb show, hits the nail on the head. Gender isn't the issue, just the love of cars, and "that one car" that all people who love autos have in their hearts. Mine was a crap 71 Sedan DeVille that had to be fixed almost weekly for several years ... but even decades later, to this very day I regret selling it before a big move for work.

This is a great documentary, it really grabbed my interest as a car guy. I've liked Bana in most of the things I've seen him in, and this really cemented what a cool guy he is.

I knew that he crashed his car before I saw this, but I still felt myself getting really nervous when you could tell the time was coming. I'm glad he and his friend/navigator weren't hurt in the crash.

Seeing this really makes me wish I had kept my first car after crashing it. I wish him good luck on getting the Beast back on the road.

Yeah I wrecked my first car, a Mk2 Escort, she broke down fairly regularly and was often getting towed home or had to fix her at the roadside. Totalled her on a hump back bridge one night, I had plans to drop in a big engine and make some other changes but after the crash I spent the money on another Ford and she went off to the scrap yard :(

This was a great movie, I watched it last night from when it was on More4.
