WTF is "Dr." Phil doing in this film?!?! As soon as his hideous mug came up in the trailer, I was turned off to seeing this film. I'm a car nut, but I hate that man so much, I will forgo seeing this just because of him!

I'm not particularly fond of Dr. Phil either, the words 'loathe with a vengeance' come to mind, but he doesn't feature heavily in the film and surprisingly he actually seems to be vaguely interesting and intelligent. It would seem cars bring out the best in him.

Don't worry, he's not in it that much and he's easy to ignore. He just craps on about bonds with objects and how he thinks that stuff is important - basically channeling Captain Obvious. If you ignore him then it's a good movie.

I have no love for Dr Phil or any of his TV-based therapy proselytising ilk but I was pleasantly surprised by his comments in this film in that he doesn't ruin it. Still well-worth watching no matter what your feelings for Phil.

And the guy who said he's NOT in the movie much... dude did you even watch it? I'm only 47mins into the movie and I've seen his hypocritical ass more than all of Bana's friends combined. McGraw seems like someone trying to be something they obviously are not. He's not a doctor, hes not a car nut, he's just a really rich *beep*
