when will women get to fight, too????

I thought for a short while that the tide had turned and women would be allowed to kick butt in movies, too, or at least help in a scrap.
Those two chicks in the truck basically SAT THERE and squealed while the "men folks" tried to deal with the ambush. Apparantly neither had a gun since the blond grabbed a pistol from one of the bodies after they get out of the truck.
If they were tough enough to take on the mission why aren't they tough enough to be armed and not to squeal like little girls???
sheesh!

Only when the film makers stop using them as quasi-sex objects, put them in the correct costumes for the part (what sensible person would wear tank tops when there are coveralls?) and the viewers complain louder (especially the women).

Keep in mind how this movie was made in Europe.
Generally, Europeans think American movies have far too much violence in them, and Americans think European movies have too much sex and/or nudity!

Granted this has been a while ago, but when RAMBO was first out, it came close to being banned in Europe, for excessive violence; it was quite popular in the Middle Eastern countries though. On the American side, BARBARELLA (made in Europe), was rated X in the USA... Since then it has been rereleased as BARBARELLA QUEEN OF THE GALAXY and that is rated PG, just one step above G!

There are MANY movies where women fight; women vs women, women vs men.
Think KILL BILL and KILL BILL 2. More than a few are in the SciFi genre, like BLADE: TRINITY, STEALTH, THE KINGDOM (all with Jessica Biel), and like G.I. JANE, DEMOLITION MAN, HANNIE CAULDER, GIRLFIGHT ("boxing"), STILETTO, the MUMMY series, and just about every movie with Michelle Yeoh. (To name just a few...)
