Second season

This show is absolutely amazing! I watched it when it was first aired and recently bought the first season. Gutted to find out that a second season was never made. Is there anyway there could be a second season? Maybe another channel would be interested? I'm desperate to find out more about the dandelion club, Richard Arc, Rosalind and of course Dorian and Charlotte!! If not a book perhaps? Please!!
