I still adore Terrance Hill

I was probably about ten when saw my first Trinity movie, back in the early 70s. Terrance Hill's combination of charm and fearlessness was awe-inspiring to a boy that age. He was as cool as John Wayne or Clint Eastwood was, to me, then, or as cool as The Dude would be years later. He would eventually reach his peak of utter coolness in his co-staring role with Henry Fonda in My Name Is Nobody, one of the most under-rated oaters of it's time. And then...he seemed to quietly vanish from American cinema.

I've never been able to find much of Hill's true Italian stuff here in America, so I was thrilled when I came across this movie.

AMAZING how little he has changed in four decades. Same dazzling blue eyes, easy-going charm, and devil-may-care attitude. Some may bemoan the so-so production value, the rehashed storyline or the cheesy gun play.

No me.

I could watch Terrance Hill eat beans all day!

I gave a wholly undeserved 10/10...only because IMDb doesn't let you rate a bad film a 20. GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN, TERRANCE HILL! COME BACK SOON!!!

'Doc West' does its job of being a family-orientated western return of Terence Hill. It was great how they included many of his trademarks (or he did, I know he co-directed and I think co-wrote this) such as brawling and his reverence for beans!

If you love Jesus 100%... keep it to yourselves, perverts!

Back in the 1980s, a friend who had been a travel agent in Massachusetts had worked at the agency that booked all TH's travel to make movies - he lived on/ran a working dairy farm in Massachusetts for six months of the year, and made films the other six.

Agree that he's aging well, we should all be so lucky.

Me too, been a fan since the 1970s and really enjoyed this movie, he has aged wonderfully and the role of Doc West worked well for him.
