Count the '80s references!

Besides Olive's obvious homage to John Hughes during her webcam session, what other references thrown about the film can you name? Try to name the reference and what it's referencing!

I'll go first:

"What the hell are you looking at, Sister Christian?" -Rhiannon

"Sister Christian" was a 1984 top hit by rock band Night Ranger.

During Olive's shower scene she copies Ferris' shower scene with her hair in Ferris Bueller's Day Off in that scene.

Riding off with her new boyfriend on the lawnmower was a reference to the 80's movie, "Can't Buy Me Love."

"Stay Gold". Mr Griffin calls to Olive

The Outsiders 1983. Johnny writes "Stay Gold, Ponyboy"

When Olive is messing around on her guitar and tells her mom she "never had one lesson" just like Ferris in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

The fist in the air during the ride on the lawnmower was from Breakfast club.

In the first half of the movie, she mentions never having had an unnecessary musical number - obviously a reference to the Bueller parade scene since it's literally shown on scene. Toward the end, she mentions the need for an unnecessary musical number again as an excuse for the gym scene where she struts around with a boa. Great quote since that scene in Bueller (although wonderful) didn't make sense originally.
