"Sister Christian" was a 1984 top hit by rock band Night Ranger.
During Olive's shower scene she copies Ferris' shower scene with her hair in Ferris Bueller's Day Off in that scene.

Toward the end, she mentions the need for an unnecessary musical number again as an excuse for the gym scene where she struts around with a boa. Great quote since that scene in Bueller (although wonderful) didn't make sense originally.
