Steve Miner?

Anyone know why Miner wasn't involved? He's the only director not on here- in addition, his two films are the only ones of the new Deluxe DVD releases without director commentaries.

Would have been nice to hear him. And I missed seeing Dana Kimmell and Thom Mathews too.

I've always wanted to know why that is, too.

My only guess is that he knows who this Daniel Farrands is who put together the new featurettes for the Deluxe Editions and the "documentary" His Name was Jason, knew what an idiot he was and got wind of how stupid the questions were that he planned to ask the people he sat down to talk to.

Man - Peter Bracke should have made "His Name was Jason," not the idiot who wrote Halloween 6. Which SUCKED, by the way.

On the other hand, Farrands just co-directed Never Sleep Again, the definitive four-hour Elm Street doc.

So I think blaming him entirely for the way this awful F13 thing turned out is a bit naive. I'm sure he wasn't the only one who said "Hey, let's make it all fast and choppy, and not give anyone a chance to say anything interesting!"

I wish he had been interviewed.I'm a big fan of FRIDAY THE 13TH Parts 2 and 3.

We all go a little mad sometimes...

Peter Bracke should do all things Friday the 13th, in my opinion.

But yeah curious as to where Steve Miner is. Is he expensive maybe? He's still doing stuff. I notice they weren't able to get many of those types of people (Corey/Crispin for instance, not that Corey is still doing much of "anything" lol)

It's a sad thing that your adventures have ended here
