Any updates on this film release?
Does anyone know if this will be released in theaters yet? I live nearby and would really like to see the film.

It’s been four years since the movie “Fort McCoy” was filmed in the La Crosse area using many local people and locations, and the flick has yet to be shown locally.
“When are we going to get the ‘Fort McCoy’ movie, because I’d love to see it?” said Dave Clements, executive director of the La Crosse Convention and Visitors Bureau and a member of
the Film Commission of Western Wisconsin. “Do I think we’ll ever see it? My answer is, I hope I get to see it.”
The movie was directed and produced by Kate Connor and her Marzipan Entertainment Co. It features the story of Connor’s mom, Micki Stirn Connor, who grew up near Fort McCoy.
When contacted, Connor said the same thing she says every year when asked when the movie will come here — someday.
“We’re just finishing the festival circuit with the film, and we’ll definitely be bringing it to the area when we move into the next phase,” she said. “We’re looking forward to celebrating with all the wonderful people who participated.”
