Incorrect car

During one scene there's a 1948 Hudson. A glaring error since the film is supposed to be set in 1944, and that car particularly was completely different looking that its predecessors. With all the editors and other people involved in making a film, I'm disappointed that no one picked up on it. Maybe they were all too youn g to know the difference?
