Why The Low Score? Good Little Drama
I enjoyed this movie - not every film has to be a huge blockbuster to be good. The movie does have several historical inaccuracies (set pieces, uniforms for example) but those can be overlooked by the solid acting and emotion. I wish some of the subplots would've been further developed, but the main storyline is very nice albeit somewhat predictable since we've seen (or read) similar versions of war-time dramas before. I liked the characters and how real they felt. Small indie films are way underrated by the general public.
