Very well done adaptation...

The director stayed as true to the short story as he could, but improved areas of it in order to make it more believable.

I know a lot of people are sticklers for staying true to the source and even more people refuse to believe a film can be better than a written work. However, this is one case where the film adaptation may have gone beyond the source work.

The visuals were great and the edits from the short story's plot were minimal and necessary to make the film work. The people who made this did a great job on a shoe string budget. The only pity is that this will not be marketed and will not benefit from widespread awareness (the politics of the story and film do not help that either).
